## Where culture and tech meet

### Creative Day

Each month, we take a day off our projects and play. It's a time for experimentation, learning, and collaborative creation because we believe that fun adds value. Whether it's a multiplatform mobile tech competition or developing tools to enhance productivity (like a chat command for coffee orders), creativity is at the heart of what we do.

### All-hands meeting

Premium Minds' monthly all-hands meeting is our most sacred ceremony. It is where we get together to discuss important matters on management and strategy. But also where we welcome our newcomers, look back at historical company moments and celebrate team and personal victories.

### Summer Internship

Our summer internship is as hands-on as it gets. A group of interns joins forces as a development team to create a tool Premium Minds will treasure. For two months, these aspiring developers and project managers are challenged to build an app from scratch. And with great power comes the great responsibility of having us as its target users.

### Open Source

IIt is no secret that we are big open source advocates. That is why we like to give back to the community by donating to our favorite software and tools. These are just a few of those we've contributed to.

### Our Story

Over 20 years ago, our founder Pedro had the idea of creating an IT business with a human-centric approach. Fast-forward to today, we have grown into a wider team constantly looking to create high-quality products without sacrificing our values.

**2003**: We're crafting Gpark using PHP – it marks our debut software venture, and the challenge is substantial. Our task involves synchronizing offline PDAs that remain in constant use on the lively streets.

**2005**: Elevate your parking experience with Teleparque - paying your parking meter is now as effortless as making a phone call.

**2010**: 10 is a crowd - time to move to a new office! And we are bringing our guitars and Super Mario stickers with us.

**2012**: Udifar presents us with a challenge: to create Winphar, a software tailored for over 400 pharmacies. And we're stepping up to deliver.

**2013**: The solution we crafted for Empark back in 2005 has stood the test of time, maintaining its effectiveness even after handling millions of payments.

**2015
PME Excelência'14**: We are recognized as one of the Best Companies to Work for by Exame Magazine and win the "Excelência no Trabalho 2014" award.

**2016**: We welcomed our first overseas client and are now launching in Miami.

**2017**: We move to an awesome new office, which allows us to go back to sharing the same floor. Company spirit strives!

**2018**: Achievement Unlocked: We're part of the exclusive 7% recommended by Digital Knights. They approved, we delivered.

**2020**: We're partnering with Santander to transform debt restructuring for their retail and corporate clients. With an end-to-end approach, we're automating a complex process to align with the client's national strategy.

**2021**: After navigating the challenges of remote work and conducting a thorough internal survey, we're embracing a hybrid approach. We're now back at the office for a minimum of two on-site days, combining the best of both worlds.

**2024**: Fresh new website! A collaborative effort result in a new online look that captures the essence of Premium Minds and showcases not only our work but also our values.

Behind every great software lies a great team. At Premium Minds, our recruitment process is human-driven, valuing individuality over numbers. We seek out individuals who bring their unique perspectives and talents, fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated.

### Office

Our office is a reflection of who we are. Besides all the tech, you'll find photos, plants, miniature figures, and all kinds of props. There is also room to play, chill (that's right - we have a zen room), and even shower after a sports sesh.

## How we take care of our own

### Fun

All work and no play would make us dull. We like to invest some time in hanging out and sharing our non-code-related interests. That might involve grabbing a guitar, a ball, some board games, or hitting the dancefloor. And when stress arrives, these bonds come in handy.

### Learning

The IT world moves at a fast pace. We keep up with it by making sure we carry on learning and challenging ourselves. Premium Academy is a blend of tech talks and workshops where our team shares insights internally. And now we've extended this knowledge-sharing endeavor to students through our After College Experience.

### Talks

There is so much more than meets the IT. Because we keep on looking inwards, we keep finding subjects that interest a lot of us. Sometimes we can be the experts and do our own talks - on history, travels or management strategies. Other times, we like to invite others to come and share with us, on topics such as  finance, the role of sleep or conscious communication.

### Well-being

We're quite serious about looking after our bodies and minds - a healthy team is a happy team. It is important to take breaks and give our brains some time to reset. That's why we cherish our mindfulness sessions or a visit to the zen room (and not only to wait for the code to compile). We also spend some time on our yoga mats, playing football or trying new sports together.
