Once a month, we play together with different technologies and new ideas. Check some of them here.
It's very important to have this day for personal and professional growth. I also like being able to work with people that are not part of my team. Oh, and it's pizza day!
For me, the creative day is an opportunity to get out of the bubble of everyday life and learn new concepts and technologies that can make me a better engineer. Also, it is a way of working with colleagues from other teams and sharing visions.
Premium Academy
Driven by the desire of increasing knowledge within the company, our architects created Premium Academy where a team of developers discuss and work on relevant technical topics.
I enrolled in the Premium Academy because it seemed like an excellent opportunity to learn from more experienced people. It gave me the possibility to analyze different approaches for solving the same problem.
Deepening my knowledge of software testing would be enough motivation, but having Gil's tutoring was even greater!
We share knowledge and information in company Talks.
We donate to the Open Source projects we use.
We share thoughts and opinions through Know Your Team.
We organize blood donation events in partnership with IPST.
We host meetups for the community.
Day to day life
Summer Internship
During summer, we receive a group of university students who make part of an autonomous team with the responsibility of completing a project in two months.
The Summer Internship was the ideal occasion to put into practice what I learned in college, and the spectacular atmosphere convinced me to stay when it's over.
All Hands Meeting
Once a month, we bring the whole team together in a meeting where relevant topics are shared with everyone and each one contributes with information or questions about the company's life.
I was surprised by the existence of this kind of meeting. I was not used to the management process being called into question so directly and with part of the management opening up to find a better solution for the company and everyone.
It's not every day, but it's for everyone. At Premium Minds, this general meeting is a unique and important moment, where everyone can participate, and everyone is included; either to ask questions about what makes us anxious, or to learn about the direction the company is taking.
